At EXP Journeys, travel has always been about more than just destinations – we make it about connection, understanding, and having a meaningful impact. This year, we took a significant step forward in such a mission to create authentic experiences that not only transform your perspective but also support the communities and ecosystems we are privileged to explore and operate within.

Without these amazing places, people, and cultures, creating the magical journeys we are known for would not be possible. So, back in January, we launched the EXP Foundation to support and enrich these communities and say thank you.

Our approach through the EXP Foundation is simple yet powerful: a portion of each journey directly supports local non-profit organizations working to protect, preserve, and empower their communities.

In our inaugural year, we raised $17,892, which will be shared equally between three exceptional organizations: Yee Ha’ólníi Doo, Teton Raptor Center, and Turner Endangered Species Fund. Each of these represents the actual ‘boots on the ground,’ those who work tirelessly to improve the communities, lives and livelihoods of all the people, animals, rivers, and plants that call their destination home.

Our support goes beyond financial contributions. By raising awareness of these incredible organizations, we hope to inspire our travellers to see the world not just as tourists but as responsible global citizens. Each journey becomes an opportunity to understand the intricate connections that bind us to the places we visit.

We are incredibly proud of our work this year in helping these organizations. As we look ahead to 2025, we are excited about the future of the EXP Foundation and how we can assist more organizations in making positive impacts on their communities. The Foundation is more than a charitable initiative; it is a testament to our belief that responsible travel can be a force for positive change.

We wholeheartedly believe in the power of community and collective impact. If you know of an organization making a real difference in its local community, we want to hear from you. Please message us about the incredible work being done on the ground to help us continue our responsible, transformative travel mission.

Together, we can turn every journey into an opportunity for positive change.
